Bring nature to your home with the pared back style of the Forestry Table. A family dining experience made of Douglas Fir wood from Dutch forests. With Dutch design simplicity, this table offers the perfect space to host an impromptu barbecue on a summers evening, or dress the table with foraged ivy, candles and a couple of solar lights for a more refined dinner party setting.
Available as a 6, 8 and 12 seater in a Raw finish; the table is constructed from wooden planks so the attention is focussed on the beauty of the local wood from Staatsbosbeheer (the Forestry Commission), with natural edges, following the shape of the tree it originates from and even showing signs of the original bark.
The matching bench is also available in two sizes. Invite your friends or family for dinner, read a good book or organise a picnic; there is room for everyone!
** Also available in a Refined edition with straight, sanded edges but this is a limited edition product so for availability please get in touch.

Floris Schoonderbeek says his goal is to bring a change in the world – if he hadn’t become a designer he would have liked to be a mayor. He studied Product Design at the ArtEZ Institute of the Arts in Arnhem and in 2003 he studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven, but soon decided to set up his own studio.
From his studio Floris develops concepts, products and (art) projects. He has not so much a specific design style but more a mindset with which he approaches projects: he writes a ‘scenario’ for an activity or location, and then designs a solution to the scenario.
